Colbe Michael Schicatano
is a filmmaker and multi-media artist based in Seattle, Wa.
Intensely curious about the world around him and the role of the artist in the 21st century, he works with the intention to promote change and encourage genuine and challenging self-reflection. Carrying with him the belief that the boundaries of the visual and performing arts should continue to blur into one another, he hopes generate new work through collaborations with different perspectives, communities, and artists.
His personal investigations include the close examinations of love, dreaming, sexuality, masculinity, the internet, national identity, consumerism, and class.
Through these lenses he brings pencil to paper and light to screen.
